The replacer of Thesium linophyllon from the mesoxeric and xeric steppe grasslands on the calcareous rocks from the low altitude mountains. However, the differences between the two species seem unconvincing. Maybe the rank of a variety would be much suitable - Thesium linophyllon L. var. bavarum (Schrank) Fiori. Even the Linnean types of Thesium linophyllon are two individuals from which one has wider leaves with three clear nerves and another one with very narrow leaves and one visible nerve.Cheile Valisoarei natural reservation area, Trascau Mountains, Alba county, 23rd of May 2010. dr.
